Conduct’s S/4HANA migration platform is designed to automate much of the discovery and analysis involved in this process. The company says its AI can perform manual system analysis more than 80% faster and help reduce costs on large-scale projects.

How Conduct Uses AI to Understand and Transform Complex Enterprise Systems?
Conduct is positioning its technology as an AI operating system for enterprise software rather than another general-purpose AI assistant. Its platform connects deeply with enterprise systems and creates an operating layer that links business processes to the code and configurations implementing them. AI agents can then reason over company-specific context instead of relying solely on generic knowledge about SAP or other enterprise platforms. This distinction is important because an AI model may understand what SAP is, but it cannot know why a particular company created a specific custom function, how that function interacts with another system, or which business process would break if it were changed without accessing the organization’s actual environment.
Conduct’s platform is designed to provide that context. Its integrations include SAP, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX, and other enterprise tools, with additional integrations being developed. From there, Conduct’s capabilities span three broad areas: understanding systems, operating them, and transforming them. Teams can use the platform to analyze custom code, identify dependencies, investigate incidents, plan changes, and automate parts of software development. For S/4HANA migrations, Conduct can map customizations, assess clean-core requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, refactor code, and support testing and deployment.
The company says its customers have already seen substantial improvements. Daimler Truck, Heidelberg Materials, Fraport, DHL, and Rittal are among the organizations using Conduct, while the company reports outcomes including faster feature delivery, significantly reduced manual system analysis, and faster migration planning. Conduct has also established partnerships with SAP, BCG, and NTT DATA Business Solutions, reinforcing its position within the enterprise transformation ecosystem.

Conduct’s Bigger Bet: AI That Understands How Businesses Actually Run
Conduct’s larger ambition extends well beyond helping companies migrate SAP systems. The company believes AI can eventually understand the software infrastructure that sits underneath entire businesses and allow organizations to change that infrastructure dramatically faster. That means shortening the distance between a business decision and its implementation in software. Today, a request from a business team may pass through analysts, architects, developers, testers, consultants, and multiple enterprise systems before it reaches production. Every handoff creates opportunities for information to be lost or misunderstood.
Conduct wants its AI agents to provide a shared layer of context across that entire lifecycle, allowing business and IT teams to work from the same understanding of the underlying systems. The company raised $60 million in Series A funding in June 2026, co-led by Index Ventures and ICONIQ, with strategic investment from SAP. Conduct said the funding would support expansion of its engineering and go-to-market teams, its move beyond SAP across the wider enterprise software stack, and the establishment of a second headquarters in New York.
The timing is significant because enterprises are simultaneously facing two major technology shifts: the modernization of decades-old software and the arrival of increasingly capable AI agents. Conduct is betting that these trends are connected. AI agents cannot meaningfully transform a business if they do not understand the systems, processes, dependencies, and institutional knowledge that make that business unique.
If Conduct can provide that understanding, enterprise software could become far more adaptable. A system change that previously required months of analysis and implementation could potentially happen in hours. That would not simply make IT teams more productive. It could change how quickly entire companies are capable of adapting to new markets, products, regulations, and operational requirements. Conduct’s ultimate bet is that the next generation of enterprise AI will not just generate text or write code. It will understand the complicated software systems that run the world’s businesses and help organizations change them with far greater speed and confidence.
