NeoSapien is an Indian technology company developing AI-powered wearable devices. Its flagship product, Neo 1, is a screen-free AI pendant designed to capture everyday conversations, generate meeting notes, identify action items and maintain a searchable record of discussions. Neo 1 comes in a compact pendant form factor that can be worn around the neck using an included metal chain. Measuring 45 × 22 × 8 mm, the device features a minimalist design without a display. The device connects to the company’s smartphone application, available for Android and iOS. Once paired, users can activate its listening mode through the application. A white indicator light signals that the device is actively listening, while the absence of light indicates sleep mode or disconnection. The company lists a charging time of approximately two to three hours through USB Type-C. Actual battery performance will depend on usage.
On privacy, NeoSapien states that raw audio is processed for transcription and deleted after processing, while transcripts remain available in the application. The company also claims AES-256 encryption for data in transit and at rest. Users can delete individual conversations and export their data. These are manufacturer-stated privacy commitments.
